ERD “Kick the Tragedy” Poet T-Shirt — White

Same figure. No cover of darkness.

This is the white version of the Poet T-shirt — identical composition, identical type, identical figure, identical instruction. The differences are surface and total.

White heavyweight cotton. Black ink. The same three-line brand name in wide-tracked sans-serif capitals, one word per line, accent-stripped:

ENFANTS
RICHES
DEPRIMES

The same hand-drawn poet on the right: pointed hat, long coat, cane, head down, body turned. The same slogan split across the lower front:

KICK THE     TRAGEDY

But on white, the poet has no background to recede into. The black version surrounds him with darkness — the figure exists in it, is partially of it, can disappear into it. On white, he stands in open space. The line drawing is thinner-looking against white than against black; the same ink reads as more exposed, more fragile. A figure in daylight rather than in a basement. The same posture of defeat, but now fully visible, with nowhere to go that the eye cannot follow.

The instruction is also different in tone. “KICK THE TRAGEDY” in white ink on black reads like something written on a wall. In black ink on white, it reads like something written on paper — a note left for yourself, a reminder rather than a declaration. The urgency is the same. The register is quieter.

Two shirts. Same content. The black one is a statement made in the dark. The white one is the same statement made in plain sight.
