ERD “Dunked Dorothy” Baroque Pullover Hoodie — Black / Pink

The front inverts a name. The back degrades a painting. Both are deliberate.

On the front left chest, a square image: two figures, heads close, caught in a moment of intimacy or whisper, printed in high-contrast black and white. Beside the image, rotated and stacked: FOR DIS / OBEDIENCE on the right side; and running down the left, upside down — DUNKED / DORTHY. The inversion is the message. Dorothy, dunked. The act named, the name turned on its head, the charge of disobedience printed like a verdict beside it.

The back carries an Old Master painting — a Baroque interior scene, multiple figures arranged in the poses of a feast or a tribunal or a moment of power shifting hands. Printed entirely in pink on black. The palette does what the inversion did on the front: it takes something that was designed to command authority and drains it into something decorative, pretty, soft. Above it: ENFANTS RICHES. Below it, in the largest type on the garment: DÉPRIMÉS.

This is the only piece in the series printed in pink. The choice is not incidental. Pink on black reads differently than red or white — it doesn’t threaten, it seduces. ERD uses it to make a Baroque painting feel like a poster in someone’s bedroom, and to make a verdict feel like a caption. Dunked for disobedience. Depressed and rich.
