ERD “Dressing Up Time” Bleached Pullover Hoodie — Bleached Black

This one looks like it came out of a zine that was photocopied until the image started to break down.

The base is black heavyweight fleece, bleached at the seams, cuffs, and hem in washes of blue-white — not a symmetrical pattern, not a tie-dye, but the kind of uneven chemical staining that happens when fabric is soaked and wrung and left. The color sits somewhere between ink and rust. The garment already looks like an artifact before you read anything on it.

On the front: erd in lowercase bold at the upper left, with dressing up time below it in small type. Centered below, a high-contrast black-and-white photograph of a woman, tilted slightly, printed at the scale of a magazine clipping. Beside and beneath the image, a fragment of text — attractive woman / makes a happy return to — pulled from somewhere, cut off before the sentence ends. The syntax is deliberately incomplete. The meaning depends on what you assume came before and after.

The back splits the brand name across two lines — enfants riches above, déprimés below — with four overlapping image blocks between them: the same high-contrast treatment, figures in motion, stacked and rotated like torn photographs pinned to a board in the wrong order. The images don’t tell a story. They suggest one.
