ERD “Do What Thou Wilt” Pullover Hoodie — Washed Blue

The whole of the law. In a hoodie.

Washed blue heavyweight fleece, deep-toned print throughout. The color is faded and uneven, the surface treated to look like something that has been worn through rituals rather than purchased.

The front opens at the top with the phrase: DO WHAT THOU WILT. This is not a decoration. It is a direct citation of Aleister Crowley’s foundational Thelemic law — Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law — the doctrine that the individual will, fully and authentically expressed, is the supreme ethical principle. ERD prints it at the top of the hoodie in the same way a title appears at the top of a page. Below it, a hand-drawn figure: a seated or crouching human form holding a sphere or vessel, the posture ambiguous between meditation and ceremony. Dense handwritten text fills both sides of the figure, arranged in columns like marginalia or a ritual listing — the kind of writing that fills the edges of a page when the center is already occupied. Both sleeves carry repeating circular seal motifs running down the arm.

The back is given entirely to the creature. A large hand-drawn figure stands facing outward: tall pointed ears or horns, a skull-like or masked face, clawed hands at its sides. This is the Minotaur — or something close enough to it: the half-human half-beast of the labyrinth, the thing that lives at the center of a maze and cannot leave. The line work is rough and deliberate, the weight of the strokes suggesting something drawn in a notebook or scratched into a surface rather than designed on a screen. The sleeve seals continue around both arms.

The front holds the doctrine. The back holds the creature. The doctrine says: follow your will. The creature is what lives in the place you end up when you do.
